Summary[]

The unit investigates the murder of a key witness in an ongoing high profile rape trial. After pulling over an erratic driver, Burgess and Sorensen find the driver wearing a skirt, fishnet stockings and a chastity belt, recording it on their body cams. Sorensen later posts the video to his Facebook account. Meanwhile, Antonio is offered a lead investigator job at the attorney's office by Peter Stone.

Plot[]

Going through Oliver's Facebook posts, Ruzek discovered a coded message that coincides with a large financial withdrawal that Oliver's sister Sloane made and paid off Radovick. Voight states it is enough to fool her into confessing everything and orders for her to be brought in. Indeed, Voight and Erin deceive Sloane into thinking Radovick has given a statement implicating her. They tell her what she is looking at if she doesn't talk, before they are able to get Sloane to admit that Oliver told her to pay Radovick to confront Tariq. However, she says killing him was not what she intended, as she only meant to get him to change his story.

With Sloane's words, Alvin confronts Radovick who asks if he got Leo but Alvin goes over Jim's past of making false arrests that got him dismissed as a cop. Realizing he's onto him, Radovick asks Alvin if he's really going to believe the words of an addict over him, but Alvin reveals Leo's sister Sloane told them everything. Alvin calmly asks him to stand, as Radovick is forced into admitting that the murder was accidental, as he meant to bribe Tariq but thought Tariq was reaching for a gun though discovered it was really a phone after shooting him. He begs Alvin to ensure that it is not reported as premeditated murder, since he has kids to take care of, but Alvin points out how Radovick was paid off and attempted to frame an innocent man for his crimes. Radovick falls silent while Alvin cuffs his former friend and hauls him off.

Having confirmed his guilt into ordering the killing the witness, Oliver is charged for this crime and his other crimes of rape. As he is hauled into prison, he is taunted by Lindsay who remarks on his lack of a smile. She then says that Oliver not only ruined the families of his victims but his own sister who is looking at three years. Oliver watches as the satisfied Lindsay walks off before he is made to go inside the jail.

Meanwhile, Antonio approaches Stone at Molly's and accepts the job as a DA Investigator while the latter is overjoyed to have good news.
