Jenn Cassidy is a K-9 Officer and former partner and ex-girlfriend of Sean Roman. She was portrayed by Spencer Grammer.
Biography[]
She is first mentioned in Get My Cigarettes, when Roman reveals to Kim Burgess of his failed relationship with his last female partner. He also stated that he was in love with her but she did not feel the same way.
Jenn physically appears in Called in Dead, where she is now a K-9 officer. She is called in to aid in tracking suspicious characters looking to harm a dignitary. Jenn is reunited with Sean and things are tense because of how they left things. Later, the tension leads to several arguments in the middle of a call. While talking to Kim, Jenn reveals that she is now engaged but it appears she still has feelings for Sean. The trio are called to investigate the home of a suspicious man but Jenn and Sean get into a heated argument. While Jenn and Sean are distracted, Burgess breaks away to investigate. As a result, she gets shot while Jenn and Sean are alerted. They call in for help for the unconscious Kim, while upset this could of been prevented.
In Shouldn't Have Been Alone, a remorseful Jenn stays behind to watch Kim while Sean goes inside. Afterwards, they take the unconscious Kim to the hospital. Sean notes that his precinct will send officers to watch Kim while Jenn offers to wait for them, as she regrets not being there for Kim. However, Sean sternly tells her that he doesn't want Jenn to be near Kim nor does he want to see her for the rest of the night. Jenn is upset and tries to beg him but he storms off. At the end, she arrives at the 21st precinct to speak with Sean. She apologizes for the arguments they had and offers a peaceful walk with his ex-boyfriend along with her dog Slayer. Sean takes her up on her offer.
